My Favourite YouTubers | 2014
Thursday, December 18, 2014
Hey guys! I love watching YouTubers so today I'm going to tell you about some of my favourites. Some of them are bigger YouTubers and some are smaller ones - I like to watch a variety of different types so here are a few of my favourites.
Zoella - Zoe Sugg
Zoe is my favourite YouTuber. Of course, she's a very well known and successful YouTuber with over 6 million subscribers but she is so good at what she does. She has used her YouTube platform to make a book and a beauty range. Her videos are mainly about beauty and fashion. My favourite videos of hers include her Pumpkin Carving video with Gabby (who I will mention later on) and What's In My Bag/haul videos.
PointlessBlog - Alfie Deyes
Alfie's videos are fun and creative. He always comes up with exciting video ideas and the videos are really entertaining. He has 3 channels: main channel, gaming channel and his vlogging channel where he daily vlogs every day of his life. On his main channel alone he has 3.5million subscribers. He has made videos for over 5 years to earn the following he has and has made a book called The Pointless Book which is an interactive do-it-yourself type book. My favourite videos of his are his Christmas Q&A with Zoe and The Headband challenge.

Joe's videos are original and funny; they always manage to make me laugh. He is most known for his amazing impressions and prank call video - he has pranked fellow YouTubers, fans and even his dad! Joe also has 3 channels: Main channel, vlog channel and gaming channel. On his gaming channels he plays gaming series' like Outlast and the Sims. My favourite videos of his are his YouTuber Whispers series and his ultimate balloon prank on his roommate Caspar.

Christmas Gift Stocking Ideas
Sunday, December 14, 2014
Hey guys! Today I’m going to be showing you some gift ideas
for Christmas which you could get in your stocking or give to your best friend.
They aren’t going to be big gifts but smaller stocking sized ones. Of course, everyone
has different tastes, but I’m quite a girly teenage girl so if you are similar
to me, you might like them too.
A CD
If you like music like I do, a CD would be a good present
for Christmas. CDs generally cost about £10 and lots of artists bring out their
new albums towards Christmas time.
Bath Bombs
Bath bombs are really pretty and smell amazing so they are a
great present for a teenage girl like me. You can get really nice bath bombs at
Lush. The bath bomb in the photo below is by a brand called ‘Bomb Cosmetics’
who have a range in a shop near me. Their bath bomb range are shaped in things
like cupcakes and ice-creams, and they recently have some winter inspired bath
bombs which are shaped like snowmen too and they are really cute.

Books
I’m not book crazy but at the minute there are some
really good books out for teenage girls. I’ve asked for Zoe Sugg’s book Girl
Online for Christmas and if you like Zoe like I do that would be a great present.
Some of my favourite books are Geek Girl and The Fault In Our Stars, featured
below.
Socks
My birthday was a couple of months ago and now I received
quite a few pairs of socks! You could get fluffy socks which are really cute
and cosy for the winter time or frilly socks which are featuted below. My
favourite place for frilly socks is Topshop, they have a great range of colours
and are really good quality.

Stationery
I really like pretty sets of pens and notepads and I think
that’s a really good present to give as it’s hard to go wrong. You can always
use a new pen for school. Paperchase is my favourite stationery shop as their
ranges are always really pretty and cute.
Notepad from Paperchase and Stabilo pens pack of 20,
which I bought from Wilkinsons for £9.75 (cheaper than
avarage stationery shops for Stabilo pens)
Zoella Beauty
My favourite YouTuber is Zoella and her beauty range is
really pretty. She does makeup bags, body mist and bath fizzers along with
other items too. I’ve asked for some for Christmas and I’m really excited to
get some.

Hollister Perfume
The pricest item on my list is Hollister perfume. I got the
Pure Cali perfume for my birthday and it is the nicest smelling thing ever. It
is amazing! It is a small enough size for a stocking but is quite expensive at
£24. If you like the Hollister scent, which I love, you would love this.
Thanks for reading and I hope this has inspired you <3

One Direction Four | Album Review
Thursday, November 27, 2014

As part of my Top Ten Songs back in October, I mentioned Steal My Girl, One Direction's latest single.
I thought that it was pretty good and if it was anything to go by it could be a
good album. I didn’t really like Midnight Memories that much because other than Best
Song Ever and Don’t Forget Where You Belong, none of the songs really wowed me
on the first listen and I didn’t like the rockier, guitar-riff sound to songs
such as Midnight Memories and Little Black Dress.
However, Four was not what I expected. It was much better
than what I expected. I had only listened to the chorus of some of the songs
and was already deeply impressed by the album. Four shows that One Direction
have matured and developed musically since Up All Night and is a lot less
“teen-poppy” that the critics say that is all they are. Take Me Home was my
favourite One Direction album and I didn’t expect them to ever beat it but I
think it’s possible they may have with Four.
Some of my favourite songs include Ready To Run, which the
intro really reminds me of Story Of My Life, but I think the song is amazing
and I hope they release it as a single. Other favourites include of course,
Steal My Girl, the first single taken from this album, and the new single Night
Changes which I absolutely love, especially the lyrics. I also love the music
video for it; I’m often not overly keen on One Direction’s music videos but
this one could possibly be my favourite of them all now, which the Live While
We’re Young video used to be. You can watch the Night Changes video here:
I am glad I decided to get the deluxe edition of Four as two
of my other favourite tracks from the album are Change My Ticket and Act My Age.
Change My Ticket is really catchy and has a great beat and although I’m not so
keen on the lyrics at the start of Act My Age, the chorus is amazing and I like
the Irish themed verses. Another song I must mention is Stockholm Syndrome. It
is definitely one of my favourites as it has a good rhythm to it and their
voices sound incredible on it so it’s one of the songs I’ve been going back to
listen to often.
The only thing I feel it is lacking is a song wrote by
McFly! We have I Want on Up All Night, I Would on Take Me Home and Don’t Forget
Where You Belong on Midnight Memories so being a big McFly fan I would always
look forward to the McFly penned song on the One Direction album so I was a
little bit disappointed that we didn’t get one this time but maybe the album is
good enough already!

So that’s it! I hoped you enjoyed an album review; there are
some more amazing albums I’ve been loving recently so you may see some more
reviews in the upcoming future. Thanks for reading and please comment below any music you recommend I listen to and also your thoughts on Four too!
